Jason Marin
Managing Associate Attorney
Jason Marin is the Managing Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Adam Dayan, where he advocates for students with disabilities and their families throughout the special education process. Jason oversees legal operations, including our work with parents to help them navigate the complexities of special education and help them pursue the placements, services, and reimbursements to which they are entitled.
Before joining the firm, Jason spent many years as both a sole practitioner, and with major law firms working in the intellectual property field, specializing in trademark and copyright law. In this position, he helped clients understand and navigate the worlds of prosecution, maintenance, management, and enforcement. He has a proven success record in enforcing client rights and getting them the maximum value for their rights through negotiation and legal action.
Jason earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1999 and is licensed to practice in New York. He is known amongst his clients as always working towards the best possible resolution of any matter and treating each matter as a unique, distinct issue. He is also known for being able to translate complicated legal issues into easy-to-understand language and being able to understand a client’s needs and goals, and how to determine the relevant paths to pursue the same.
Outside of work, Jason is a published game designer and an avid fan of tabletop gaming, comic books, and anime. He spends his time fostering communities in these areas and playing with his dog, Baroness, and his cat, Zod.
Alexandra Martinesi is the Case Management Supervisor at the Law Offices of Adam Dayan, PLLC, where she advocates for families navigating the special education process. With a career that spans from corporate human resources to nonprofit legal advocacy, she brings both strategic efficiency and genuine compassion to every case. Alexandra works closely with parents to help them understand each step and ensure their children receive the services and support they deserve.
Before joining the firm, Alexandra spent nearly two years at a nonprofit law group focused on special education, where she managed complex federal dockets, mentored junior paralegals, and supported attorneys in litigation. Her earlier career in corporate HR sharpened her skills in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development—expertise she now uses to streamline case management and build strong relationships with clients. Alexandra is passionate about making the legal process less intimidating. Whether coordinating case details, preparing for a hearing, or answering a parent’s urgent question, her goal is always to ensure clients feel heard, informed, and empowered.
Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys spending time at the beach, getting lost in a good book, and relaxing at home with her two cats.
