New Year, Let's Turn The Page

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

No question about it, 2020 was a difficult year. Lockdown, quarantine, physical and spiritual isolation. It's hard to quantify the toll that this year has taken on us. We all struggled with the challenges imposed by Covid in our own ways.

Individuals with disabilities had it particularly bad. Remote learning was, on the whole, not effective. Regression, anxiety, and depression were common. Some of our clients with the most severe impairments struggled with aggression resulting in harm toward themselves or others. How strong must parents in these circumstances be in order to cope and keep moving forward.

This year has been a difficult chapter in our lives and we are all eager to turn the page.

Let 2021 be the year that Covid is eradicated,

Let our children return to the way they are accustomed to being educated,

Let hope and relief replace fear and grief,

Let the sick be healed,

Let the darkness fade,

Let's turn the page,

And start off fresh in the New Year.

On behalf of my entire law firm, I am wishing you and your family a happy, healthy, safe, peaceful, and joyful New Year.

Let's turn the page and start the next chapter of our lives.
