Tribeca Film Festival & Disability

I am a big fan of the Tribeca Film Festival and look forward to attending whenever the event rolls around. At this year's festival, I had the pleasure of seeing a film called Keep The Change. It is a beautiful film that explores the relationship between two individuals with special needs. Written and directed by Rachel Israel, it is touching, funny, and very enjoyable. It is also authentic in that the actors themselves have disabilities of their own. After the screening, the audience was treated to a Q&A with some of the actors and Ms. Israel.

If you are interested in seeing Keep The Change, there are still two screenings remaining on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:45 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 at 5:45 p.m., although tickets appear to be available on a rush basis only. You can read more about the film here.
