Janice Deutsch

Legal Production Manager

Before joining the Law Offices of Adam Dayan in 2020, Janice Deutsch spent sixteen years as paralegal for various civil litigation defense firms and freelanced as a general practice paralegal for several overworked and understaffed solo attorneys. Her legal background encompasses a wide range of practice areas including estates, matrimonial, real estate, personal injury, malpractice, and more.

Janice's background in Special Education comes from the classroom. Janice spent four years at a public high school in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, teaching a variety of subjects to teenagers with learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, intellectual disability, neurological conditions, deafness, and speech/language impairment.

While earning a B.A. in Secondary Special Education from CUNY’s Brooklyn College, Janice simultaneously completed three related degree programs in Education of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped, Speech Pathology and Audiology, and Linguistics.

Janice is a native New Yorker, raised in Brooklyn since she was three. She is an avid reader (with too many bookshelves), cook (with too many recipes), and puzzler (with a 6,000-piece Map of the Ancient World and ten 1,000-piece puzzles mounted on her walls, plus daily subscriptions to a mountain of crossword, logic, and quiz-type puzzles).
