Marisol Negron-Pescetto

Before joining the Law Offices of Adam Dayan in January 2022, Marisol Negron-Pescetto spent twenty-five years of her professional career increasing access to quality education for children with and without disabilities in New York City on behalf of the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE).

As a senior case coordinator at the NYCDOE’s Impartial Hearing Office, Marisol managed thousands of impartial hearing cases while helping parents navigate special education processes and procedures. Marisol provided information and guidance to families and non-English speaking populations regarding their due process rights. In addition, she corresponded with Impartial Hearing Officers, parents, and parents’ representatives regarding the status of their impartial hearings.

Marisol holds a B.A. in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle, School of New Resources. She believes that mankind owes it to each child the best it has to give. She enjoys building and maintaining positive relationships with families while helping them with their education questions and concerns. Marisol was born and raised in Brooklyn and currently resides in Bay Ridge with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks, stand-up comedy, traveling, listening to music, and playing board games with her family.
